Cosmicomics was a joy to read. Yes, the Moon was so strong that she pulled you up; you realized this the moment you passed from one to the other: But that is about something written on the pages pas this book, but not what the book itself is.
Everything that follows is a lie. The stories itqlo wrote were direct attempts to assimilate new thinking in cosmology in recognisably human – and comic – dimensions.
There is tragedy in the story if the last dinosaur, certain degree of naughty cosmic joke when Qfwfq and a friend bet on making newer and prettier galaxies, romanticism as the families leap to the moon when the earth was very young and the Moon was very near, pragmatism while Qfwfq becomes a small sea creature and the infinite possibilities the universe offers in a tiny fraction of time. Another thing that irked me throughout, especially in the first two collections cosmicomicax these seemed to be extra gendered was that it was, more often than not, the same story over and over, about the narrator failing in his pursuit of a love interest, and these love interests remained flat and underdeveloped. Every tale introduces a mythical element, a literary reference, a love triangle, an experimental approach to link the real with the fanciful, the esoteric, the subconscious.
And he has been there even before universe came into existence.

There were nights when the Moon was full and very, very low, and the tide was so high that the Moon missed a ducking in the sea cosmicomias a hair’s-breadth; well, let’s say a few yards anyway.
